These are our elves. They are Santa's helpers who report back to the North Pole to let him know if we have been naughty or nice. There are two kinds of elves: School elves and home elves.
We read the book, The Grinch Who Stole Christmas and learned about how kindness can change a person for the better. We spend the Christmas season spreading kindness to those in need.
We read Christmas stories to get us in the holiday spirit. We also sing Christmas carols.
The whole 3rd grade performed in a holiday musical called, "Jinglebell Jukebox." This is another way that we spread holiday cheer.
In America, we also have our pet's pictures taken with Santa. Here is a picture of Mrs. Murphy's dog named Toby with Santa this year.
